KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 — All mosques and suraus under the supervision of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) and the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) have been ordered to perform solat hajat (prayer of need) for Palestine throughout the remaining days of Ramadan.

SHAH ALAM, Oct 10 — The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) has urged all mosques and surau in Selangor to hold the ‘solat hajat’ (prayer of need) and recite the 'qunut nazilah' (a supplication for Allah's protection) for seven consecutive days to pray for the well-being of the Palestinians.
